
ALTAE - Approaches to Linguistics: Theoretical, Applied and Experimental. Connecting languages and cultures
ALTAE is an “In-house Research Unit”, URP 3967 (Unité de Recherche Propre in French), a research laboratory placed under the authority of the university.
ALTAE is the name adopted on 1 January 2025 by the former research laboratory CLILLAC-ARP (Centre for Inter-language Linguistics, Lexicology, English and Corpus Linguistic Research / Workshop on Speech – Centre de Linguistique Inter-langues, de Lexicologie, de Linguistique Anglaise et de Corpus-Atelier de Recherche sur la Parole in French). The new name reflects both the development of the laboratory’s research topics since 2005 – the year of its foundation – and current scientific orientations.
